Intervals

Intervals are the distances between notes. In major scales, the distance between each note in the scale is either a whole step of a half step. The distance between the 3rd & 4th notes of the scale and the 7th & 8th notes of the scale is a half step. The distance between all other notes in the scale is a whole step.
